As an Advisor of Tungsten, Rawle brings deep cross-border M&A expertise and long-standing relationships across the global life sciences and specialty chemicals sectors.
Rawle has more than 40 years of investment banking experience, including advising global healthcare and life sciences companies on mergers & acquisitions, strategic transactions, and capital markets initiatives. He has extensive cross-border transaction experience spanning the United States and Europe, with particular expertise in complex strategic advisory assignments for growth-stage and multinational businesses. He has advised biopharmaceutical, diagnostics, medical device, and specialty chemicals companies at every stage of development, from venture-backed startups through large-cap public companies.
Rawle previously served as a Managing Director at Ferghana Partners Group, an international investment banking and financial advisory firm focused on the life sciences sector with offices in New York and London. At Ferghana, he was responsible for developing new business across the full range of the firm's products and services, served as a Member of the Commitment Committee, managed European operations, and led the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions practice.
Prior to Ferghana, Rawle founded Gargoyle Partners, a boutique advisory firm focused on healthcare and chemicals M&A, which subsequently merged with Ferghana Partners Group. Before launching Gargoyle, he served as Head of European Mergers & Acquisitions — Healthcare and Chemicals at Deutsche Bank in London, where he spent seven years spanning the firm's integration with Bankers Trust / Wolfensohn.
Earlier in his career, Rawle held senior investment banking positions at two of the world's leading global financial institutions. He spent ten years at Morgan Stanley and six years at Merrill Lynch International in London, where he developed broad-based expertise in M&A execution, capital markets, and strategic advisory across multiple industries before specializing in healthcare and chemicals.
